Description
Yeongchuksan Mountain is the guardian mountain that comes to mind when people think of Yangsan. With the peak situated at an altitude of 1,081m, it is part of the Alps of Yeongnam boasting splendid scenery. It is situated along the boundary among Habuk-myeon and Wondong-myeon of Yangsan and Sannam-myeon and Sangbuk-myeon of Ulju. It contains fascinating rock forms and tall cliffs, old pines, and silver grass that can be seen along the ridge between its peak and the peak of Sinbulsan Mountain (1,159m). Being home to Tongdosa Temple, designated as Scenic Site #1 of Yangsan, Yeongchuksan Mountain is a place where you can enjoy culture and nature.
