Description

Yangsan Tower erected in 2008 offers a view of the entire city of Yangsan. Standing 160m tall, with the main tower measuring 135m in height and the steel pylon measuring 25m, the observatory tower was created from the stack of the resource recovering facility on site. It offers a view of the horizon of the estuary of the Nakdonggang River to its south and Ulju-gun to its north. The PR Center provides information on the history of Yangsan, while the book café offers coffee emanating a rich aroma and sweet desserts. It receives visitors throughout the day, even at late hours as it provides a spectacular night view of Yangsan.

A garbage incineration facility (recycling facility), which is considered an unpleasant facility, Yangsan Tower presents a scenic chimney and a nighttime viewing observatory, making it a famous tourist attraction of Yangsan.
