Rules for Disposal
- Dispose flammables, nonflammables, recyclables, and food waste separately.
- Non-combustible (non-flammable) garbage: glass, briquettes, porcelain, mirrors, etc.
- Use 50-liter or larger plastic bags only for bulky but lightweightwaste, such as blankets or pillows.
- For bulky waste that cannot be packed into large plastic bags, please register the item before disposing of it.
- Not using standard plastic garbage bags or disposing food waste or recyclable waste without separating it may result in a fine of up to KRW 1 million (according to Article 68, Paragraph 3, Clause 1 of the Waste Control Act).
